Ivana Milakovic
Ivana Milakovic is an author, a freelance writer, a translator and an editor. She is usually known as angel011 in online communities. She has a degree in Dramaturgy (writing for theater and television, writing screenplays) from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, Serbia. Ivana is the author of a short story collection (a mixture of horror, fantasy, and fairy tales retold) Macji snovi (it means Cat Dreams). She enjoys writing short fiction, and was published in various magazines, e-zines and anthologies. She's been translated into Romanian.
Ivana was writing for two educational television series for children, and both were successful on the national television of Serbia. She was also writing for two television shows for children for another TV station, where she was editor's assistant, and the shows were quite popular.
Ivana has written over seven thousand articles about and for women, teenagers, about love and relationships, and also numerous book and movie reviews. As for translating, her latest translations include some Norman Spinrad essays from English to Serbia, and a crime novel from Croatian to English. Translating from Russian to English or Serbian is an option, too.
When she doesn't write or think about what she's going to write next, she reads, spends time with the love of her life (she's a hopeless romantic at heart), and tries to befriend every cat she sees.
